Jinhao Mining Machinery talks about the working principle of spiral classifier
Spiral classifier is based on the principle that solid particles have different sizes and specific gravity and different settling speeds in liquids. Fine ore particles float in the water and overflow, and coarse ore particles sink to the bottom of the pool. A classifying device which is pushed upward by a screw and then discharged for mechanical classification. It sorts the powdered material ground in the mill into filters and then filters the coarse material by rotating it into the mill inlet using screws. The discharged fine powder is discharged from the overflow pipe. The base of the machine is made of channel steel and the body is welded by steel plate. The spiral shaft inlet head, shaft head, is made of pig iron sleeve, which is wear-resistant and durable, and the lifting device is divided into electric and manual.
